The Water Roads platform

Vessels, charging, ticketing and route optimisation, run as one system. Registering here starts a supply conversation; the fuller process happens off the site.

What the platform is

Water Roads runs its service as one platform with five layers.

Vessels
The service draws on hydrofoil vessels from more than one builder, so the model never depends on a single supplier's plans.
Charging
Charging sits at the water's edge along the route rather than at a single depot, so a vessel gets back into service between runs without a long detour.
Ticketing
One ticketing layer works across the vessels and any partner network a service connects to, rather than a separate system for each operator.
Route optimisation
Water Roads plans routes and schedules against real transit and waterway data for the corridor in question.
Maintenance
Nothing is published about this layer yet. Water Roads has not settled how maintenance will work, and this page will not describe it until it has.

What happens after you register

Registering happens on this site; everything after it does not. Once a city, institution or partner registers, Water Roads runs the requirements and assessment work with them in direct contact, off the site.

There is no live assessment tool, no scoring method, and no part of that process on display here. A city’s own registration and status sit on Cities, not on this page.

Supplying Water Roads, and buying from it

The form on this page is for suppliers — a vessel, energy or technology business selling to Water Roads. Buying from Water Roads is the reverse conversation: a partner or city interested in the route-creation method or the charging capability. That starts on the contact form, which has a capability-buyer option; The model makes the case for both.

Register as a partner

For a prospective partner

This page is the entry point for a vessel, energy or technology supplier that wants to start a conversation with Water Roads — not a procurement process, and not a request for a proposal. Registering here starts that conversation; it does not commit either side to anything.

Choose the class that best describes what you supply.

One or two sentences: the vessel, energy system or technology, and what stage it's at.

The vessel partners are described on Company. The licensing case for the route-creation method is on Investors.
